Concept of Updhatus
Dhatus means which furnishes the body.Dhatus are the building unit of body as it is responsible for physical composition of body.They form the structure of body.
Dhatu Kshaya Lakshana
Decrease of Body tissue is called as Dhatu Kshaya. It has clinical significance in the treatment of disease.


Dhatu Vruddhi Lakshana
Increase in dhatu (vriddhi)or decreased in dhatu (kshaya)results in formation of disease.Hence it is necessary to keep the dhatus in normal state.
Dhatu-Poshan Nyaya
According to ayurveda our body is formed by Tridosha (Vata,Pitta,Kapha), Saptadhatu (Rasa,rakta,mamsa,meda,asthi,majja and sukra) And Trimala (Mala,mutra and sweda).


Kapha Dosha
Kapha is snigdha(unctuous),sheet (cold),guru (heavy) ,shlakshan,sthira (stagnant) in nature.
Malas in Ayurveda
Malas means waste products.The food which we taken for the building of body was gone through number of Biological processes which results in formation of digestive juice (ahar rasa) and waste products(mala nirmiti) Ahar rasa


Pitta Dosha Kshaya And Vriddhi lakshana
For healthy life equilibrium state of tridosha is required.Increase or decrease in dosha leads to the vyadhi formation.
Pitta Dosha
Pitta dosha is Sasneha (oily), Teekshna (sharp), Ushna (hot), Laghu(light), Vistra (strong fleshy smell), Sara (spread easily) and Drava (liquid) in qualities.


Shat kriya kala
Shat kriya kala –Shat means six ,kriya means action or treatment and kal –means time or period.It provide the knowledge how illness produces and manifest step by step.

Vata Dosha
According to Ayurveda our body is made with three basic componants,i.e Vata,Pitta and Kapha dosha.Good health f person is depend upon the equilibrium of these three dosha.
