Diet Instructions
- Eat only when you are hungry, this helps in gastric juice secretions & digestive enzymes secretion.
- Maintain a proper time to eat the food. Take the lunch in between 10 am- 12 pm & dinner in between 6 pm- 8 pm.
- Eat the only after the digestion of previous taken food.
- A pinch of rock salt & ginger’s before the meal helps in digestion.
- Slow eating is advisable. As eating fast results in overrating.
- Always have the food In half quantity of stomach.
- Always have the water in between food. Rather than before & after food.
- Do not eat whenever you are thirsty & do not drink whenever you are hungry.
- Foods with six tastes (shadarasatmak ahar) should be advisable. (Tastes – sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, astringent )
- Always take sweet foods at the start of meal it should be avoided taking as a dessert.
- A salad can be the best to end a meal.
- Avoid cold water drinking, because it put your agni off. (Digestive five down)
- Ginger tea can help in balancing Agni ( Digestive five & Enzymo)
- Spices like turmeric C1 cumin, mustard etc. enhances the digestive power.
- Always take fresh food.
- Use of raw salt (Saidhav lavan) in diet & salad. Always misted of processed salt.
