Dhatu Kshaya Lakshana

Decrease of Body tissue is called as Dhatu Kshaya. It has clinical significance in the treatment of disease.

Rasa Dhatu Kshaya Lakshana-

रसे रौक्षयं श्रम: शोषो ग्लानि: शब्दासहिष्णुता /

Decrease in rasa dhatu leads to dryness of body because water content of body becomes decrease.

Rasa kshaya leads to dehydration.

Shram-Less nutrient supply easily leads to fatigue

Shosha- Lack ofnutrients leads to emanciation of body

Glani-Dizziness

Shabda sahisnuta-become intolerant to loud sound

Ghattate-patient become restlessness

Hrudravata-palpitation

Hrudayam Tamyati Alpa Cheshtasya Api-Dysnoea on slight exersion

Raktadhatu Kshaya Lakshana-

रक्तेSम्लशिशिरप्रीतिशिरा शैथिल्य रुक्षता:/

Rakta and Pitta dosha are interconnected to each other hence increase or decrease in rakta dhatu results in increase or decrease in Pitta dosha.

Decrease in Rakta Dhatu leads to-

Amla-shishir priti- desire for sour and cold foods

Sira-shaithilya-loosness in blood vessels

Rukshata-dryness of skin

Panduta-symptoms of anemia

Parushata-roughness

Suptata-cracks

Mlana-dullness

Mamsa Dhatu Kshaya Lakshana-

मांसेSक्षग्लानिगंडस्फिक्शुष्कता सन्धीवेदना:/

Decrease in mamsa dhatu leads to –

Aksha glani-weakness of sense organ(eyes)

Ganda-spika shushkata-emanciation of cheecks and buttocks

Weakning of limbs

Greeva-udar shuhkata-emaciation of neck and abdomen

 

Medo dhatu kshaya lakshana-

मेदसि स्वपनं कट्या: प्लीहो वृद्धि: कृशांगता //

Decrease in meda dhatu leads to –

Swapanam katya-loss of sensation in kati (lumbar)region

Pleeha vruddhi- sleenomegaly

Krushangata-body emanciation

Sandhi sphutana-cracking of joints

Glani-diziness

Akshano ayasa-iredness of eyes

Udara tanuta-thinness of abdomn

 

Asthi dhatu Kshaya Lakshana-

अस्थन्यस्थितोद: सदनं दन्तलेशनखादिषु /

Decrease in asthi dhatu leads to-

Asthi toda-pain in bones,joints

Danta-keha-nakhadishu-falling of teeth,hairs and nails

Hair Falling of beard including mustaches and teeth

Shrama-tiredness

Sandhi shaithilya-loosness of joints

 

Majja Dhatu Kshaya Lakshana-

अस्थ्ना मज्जानी सौषिर्यं भ्रमस्तिमीर दर्शनम्/

Decrease in majja dhatu leads to-

Asthi saushirya-emptiness in bones

Bhrama-giddiness

Timir darshana-darkness infront of eyes

Daurbalya,laghu asthi-thinness weakness and lightness of bones

Vata roga

 

Shukra kshaya lakshana-

शुक्रे चिरात् प्रसिच्येत शुक्रं शोणितमेव वा /तोदो अत्यर्थ वृषणयोमेढ्र धुमायतीव च //

Decrease in shukra dhatu leads to-

Chirat praseka-delayed ejaculation

Shukra-shonita-sperma errection with blood

Vrushana-medra vedana-pain in testes and penile region

Daurbalya-weakness

Mukhashosha-dryness of mouth

Pandutva-pallor

Sadana-lassitude

Shrama-tiredness

Klaibya-impotency

Shukra avisarga-non ejaculation,non ovulation
