These therapies had long been unpracticed by us, had receded into background with the advent of modern medicines. With recent development in medical science, doctors have found that modern medicines and Ayurveda can complement each other and provide greater benefit for good health.
Ayurveda and Good health
According to Ayurveda, good health is for everyone, be it man or woman- there is no discrimination. From times immemorial, ancient Indian medicine has always given everyone the privilege to take care of health. The gift of good health is not just a luxury; it is your responsibility towards yourself and your society. Ayurvedic remedies and therapies are designed for each person, depending upon his own physiology and his family health history.
The Need to Have Good Health
In our ancient scriptures, the woman has been considered the source of the universe. She is ‘the eternal power’ who can create civilizations. She has the power of motherhood. With time, this privilege of women’s good health became a responsibility, then a burden, and then it became just a thing taken for granted. Good health is the key to a good life, healthy children, a healthy family, which leads to a healthy society.

There are many aspects of women’s health. At different stages of her life, there are different changes in her body. From childhood, the right nutrition is needed for healthy puberty and boosts her immunity. Once she attains teenage, right nutrition leads to healthy adulthood. Good health in adulthood leads to giving birth to healthy offsprings and attaining motherhood. Following a good upbringing of children, women need nutrition towards attaining healthy aging.
