The recipe is simple and does not require any grueling work on your part.

  • ½ cup chopped nuts
  • 2/3 cup rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup wheat germ
  • ½ cup grated dried and unsweetened co
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp melted butter, ghee or oil
  • 3 tbsp brown or raw sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • Mix the dry ingredients and nuts together.
  • Toss together all the ingredients after adding the ghee, butter or oil and water and make sure
  • that the dry ingredients are coated properly.
  • Press this mixture immediately into a buttered 9 inch pie pan.
