Acute bronchitis is usually caused by a virus.Often a person gets acute bronchitis after having an upper respiratory tract infection such as a cold or flu.In rare cases, treating acute bronchitis is caused by bacteria.
Acute bronchitis also can because breathing in things that irritate the bronchial tubes, such as smoke.It is also can happen if food or vomit, enters into the lungs.
The most common symptom of acute bronchitis is a cough that is dry and hacking at first. After a few days,t he a cough may bring up mucus.Patient may have a low fever and feel tired.
Acute bronchitis sysptoms usually start 3 or 4 days after an upper respiratory tract infection.Most people get better in 2 to 3 weeks.But some people continue to have a cough for more than 4 weeks.
Pneumonia can have symptoms like acute bronchitis.Because pneumonia can be serious, it is important to know the differences between the two illnesses.Symptoms of pneumonia can include a high fever, shaking chills, and shortness of breath.

VYAGRADI KASAYAM: 30 ml bd(kaphavata haram,jvaraharam,svasakasaharam)
Vyagradi kasayam benefits:
It is used in cold, cough, bronchitis and running nose.
It is effective in chronic respiratory conditions and fever.
Jwara – fever of Vata and Kapha origin
Shwasa – asthma, respiratory disorders involving difficulty in breathing
Kasa – cold, cough
Peenasa – rhinitis
Shoola – abdominal colic
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Kapha.
Vyaghradi kashayam ingredients:
Herbal decoction is prepared from 10 grams of each of
Vyaghri – Solanum xanthocarpum
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinalis
Amruta – Tinospora cordifolia
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum
5.Vyaghradi Kwath dosage:
5 – 10 ml, before food, or on empty stomach, once or twice a day or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
If the kashayam is concentrated, then it needs to be mixed with equal quantity of water and should be taken.
Kashayam tablet dosage is – 2 tablets 2 times a day before food or as directed by doctor.

125 mg pills – 1 – 2 tablets 1 – 2 times a day, before or after food or as directed by the Ayurvedic doctor.
It is usually administered along with Tulasi (Holy Basil) juice, Betel leaf juice or ginger juice extract.
It may also be taken in cumin seed or other suitable decoction or purified breast milk.
